CHANGE IN KNOWELDGE AND ATTITUDE OF RESPONDENTS

Highlights:

  1. By the end of the training all 100% of the participants (initial agreement was only 81%) agreed that Communication failure is the lead cause of medical errors in patient care.
  2. From 88% initially to all 100% of the participants acknowledged that most of the aggressive reactions in hospitals are result of communication failure and this need immediate attention.
  3. By the end of the workshop all 100% of the participants accredited that addressing Patient's emotional issues is part of medical intervention.
  4. All 100% of the participants agreed that patient satisfaction depends on the quality of interaction and how we make them feel.
  5. Post attending the workshop, all 100% of the healthcare professionals agreed to the need of Communication Skill enhancement training and said that Communication skill training should be part and parcel of Medical education.
